Capital of the Mexican State of Campeche and part of the 3 States that form the territory of the Peninsula of Yucatan.  Campeche is located a little over one hundred kilometers from Merida by road, which means a travel time of about one and one half hours by car.

Campeche is today one of the most beautiful colonial cities in Mexico, and also one of the most magic.  One of the few that combines colonial city with ocean front and fortifications against pirates.
